East Central Province Junior Vice Polemarch – Mr. Malcolm Haraway

Malcolm Haraway was born and raised in Houston, Texas September 2, 1990. He is currently a senior at Wilberforce University, pursuing a BS degree in computer engineering and minor in nuclear engineering. While at Wilberforce he has maintained a cumulative GPA of 3.2.

From the start he has been active at Wilberforce University, participating in vaarious community service projects. Malcolm has been a part of the Big Brother, Big Sister program, as well as a peer tutor, Student Ambassador and Orientation Advisor. In 2009 he became a part of the grant sponsored National Male Minority Health Project, which promotes health through events and programs to service the community. Also he was the recipient of the NASA Ohio Space Grant Consortium in 2011 and 2012 where he designed a nuclear waste transportation vessel.

Since Malcolm’s sophomore year he has obtained internships with Fluor-B&W Portsmouth, a contractor for the Department of Energy; and Riverside Research a contractor for the Department of Defense. In the summer of 2012 he had the honor of being a part of the Epsilon Class of the Undergraduate Leadership Institute, where he became a Kappa Fellow, the highest honor at the institute.

Malcolm was initiated into the Delta Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Incorporated in the spring of 2010. He is now the current Polemarch of the Delta Chapter, serving his 2nd term. Malcolm is also currently serving his 2nd term as the East Central Province Junior Vice Polemarch. He plans to graduate May 2014 with the aspiration of attending graduate school at the University of Houston in Houston, Texas.
